Queen’s Knights Robotics Team (QKRT)
We are a close-knit, interdisciplinary group of students dedicated to developing advanced robots for the North American RoboMaster competition. Our team provides an inclusive environment that enables students to collaborate and explore the latest technologies at the forefront of robotics. We are currently looking for a Team Captain to lead all operations and technical development within the team. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to:
- Lead the exec recruitment and hiring process
- Lead the general member recruitment and hiring process
- Refine and manage the team structure
- Oversee technical projects in mechanical, electrical, software engineering
- Oversee business and operations
- Develop technical and leadership skills
- Make a lasting impact on the team, as well as on Smith Engineering
This position is a significant commitment, and will require the successful candidate to devote a large amount of their time outside of school responsibilities. If you are confident that you are up for the challenge, this application could be the first step in one of the most meaningful experiences of your time as a student. While technical proficiency is highly valued, lack of technical background should not discourage you from applying, as technical skills can always be learned and developed with work ethic and motivation.
